Welcome to Lesche. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our application and daily digest service. By registering for an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from utilizing Lesche to scrape, aggregate, or process any illegal, copyrighted (without permission), or harmful content.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create a Lesche account. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Billing, Subscriptions, Trials & Refunds
Lesche is a paid service. New accounts start with a 7-day free trial; no payment is required to begin. After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription (billed monthly or annually) or a one-time Founding Member purchase. Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc. as merchant of record — Lesche does not directly receive or store your payment details.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel anytime in Account Settings; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period.
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for any subscription payment or the Founding Member purchase, including for partial periods, unused access, or dissatisfaction with the Service, except where required by applicable law or granted at Polar's discretion as merchant of record.
4. Service Availability and "As-Is" Clause
We provide the Service on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no guarantees, express or implied, regarding the uptime, speed, reliability, or 100% continuous availability of the Service.
5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Lesche uses AI (Google Gemini) to generate summaries of third-party articles and feeds. AI-generated summaries may be incomplete, inaccurate, or omit important context. Digests are provided for convenience and are not a substitute for the original source. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated summaries.
6. Third-Party Content & Intellectual Property
Articles, blogs, and feeds summarized by Lesche remain the property of their original authors and publishers. Lesche claims no ownership over third-party content and only processes publicly accessible feeds and URLs you choose to add. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to add any given source.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Lesche and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Service.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Lesche harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
9. Account Termination Rights
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms. You can delete your account at any time.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes arising out of them shall be governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
