At Lesche, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the European GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
1. Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum necessary information:
- Email Address: To identify your account and deliver communications.
- Feed URLs: The RSS/Atom links and topics you actively provide to build your digests.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your personal data is used strictly to construct and deliver your daily curated digests. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data for advertising or marketing.
3. Third-Party Processing & AI Summarization
To deliver digests, we send RSS article content to our AI provider, Google (Gemini AI), for text summarization. Your personal identifiers (such as emails or user IDs) are never transmitted to Google.
4. Payment Processing
If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment and billing details are processed directly by Polar Software, Inc., our merchant of record — Lesche does not receive or store your card information. See Polar's privacy policy for details on how they handle payment data.
5. Your Legal Rights
Under GDPR and Swiss FADP, you have the right to request access, rectification, or complete deletion of your data. You can instantly delete your account and all associated topics, RSS feeds, and daily summaries via your in-app Account Settings.
